Our Process

The Goodnow Fund identifies organizations it wishes to support and contacts nonprofits directly to discuss projects and funding. The Fund makes gifts throughout the year.

The Fund maintains a portfolio of projects it supports and provides grants to nonprofit tax exempt organizations for general operating expenses and for special projects. The Fund does not provide support to individuals, political causes, campaigns, or government agencies.

The Fund does not accept unsolicited proposals and will contact organizations directly regarding its interest in providing support.
